A small group of dogs and handlers gathered at the Legacy Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis yesterday afternoon for tea on the lawn and to receive a cheque from the hotel to SARDA Wales. The hotel has a long association with Mountain Rescue and its Search Dogs and when it heard of our shortage of funds was keen to help. As well as a gratefully received financial donation the hotel has provided its grounds for training and has pledged display space in each of its rooms to spread the word on the valuable service the Search Dogs provide, and how to avoid needing them in the mountains!
